The whole day was filled with the following tasks:
- Preparation of Billing of Sub-Contractor for Water-Proofing. Second week of billing for the sub-contractor of water-proofing and I was tasked to prepare his billing paper, encoded using the MS Excel, printed it. It was signed by the Project Architect.
- Inspection of Building 2. As part of my daily routine, I had an inspection in building 2 and observed that there were still windows not smooth. I asked the leadman as well as the general foreman and their major problem is that their requisition for bags of cement was not yet delivered. They made sure to finish the rooms as soon as the cements are delivered.
During the afternoon, the Chairman of the Civil Engineering Department of the University of San Carlos, also one of the Structural Engineer of the Cebu Doctor’s Dormitory Project, came with three of our classmates to have a site visit. We were with the tour with them around the site with the Senior Project Engineer. We also went to the Robinland Business Center Project where the Dakay Construction and Development Corporation President gave us an orientation of the project.
