Today was my last day in my on-the-job training. My last 10-hour training from Dakay Construction and Development Corporation. The day I have to bid farewell to my fellows and to the site I first learn the value of work. Not much task was given except for the weekly routine of accomplishment report for the piling of concrete hollow blocks and plastering of interior and exterior walls, the shading of the accomplished areas piled with CHB, and those producing of plans and layouts of additional work of cistern tank.
I simply filled my day with a little strolling along the lobby of the buildings trying to comprehend and observe the workers. All throughout my stay in the project, I filled my days with a lot of observations and interviews with different workers to answer my curiosity, during the times no task is given. I made sure that as much as possible, I will gain experience and although I know that my 240-hour training is not enough to fill my needs of field experience, I am certain that my 240-hour stay in the field was such an enormous orientation of what lies ahead of me.
